Rainy day Play

5/19/2011 Rain again today! We are very tired of this type of weather...rainy, cloudy and mopey. The kids still played outside most the day...it was about 70 degrees but just wet! Suppose to be thunderstorms here the next 6 days! Very high temps though so HOPEFULLY there wont be any rain...I have some fun stuff planned for the kids if the weather stays dry!

Grammy's Brithday!

May 17th 2011 Today was Grammy's Birthday. SO I bought a cake, because Im no good at baking them!





We each took a turn decorating it the way we wanted..







We tasted the icing!!!!!




TA-DA! Grammy and her boys and her finished cake! Boy was she surprised!!!




And then we even had room for strawberries!!



And we were so tired out by all of that, we napped!

Ice Cream Sundae Saturday!

May 15th 2011 It has become a tradition in our house to have ice cream sundaes on saturdays. The kids call this SUNDAE SATURDAY! I keep the pantry stocked with all sorts of goodies for toppings and every Saturday night the kids pull out their toppings and make awesome ice cream sundaes! Carter wanted to show off his creation




And Trenton had to show his off too! After it was melted of course!

HAppy 6th Birthday Carter!!!!

APRIL 7th 2011 Today was Carter's real birthday! He is now 6 years old! Man does time go by so fast! His birthday party isnt until the 17th but we decided to go ahead and give him his present from us and get him a yummy Ice Cream Cake! Hubby was super excited to give Carter his gift!





We decided to get him the new Nintendo DS 3D!!! Its pretty cool so far! Mommy even got to play with it for a few minutes. Carter was up until 11pm playing it! He was soooo super excited! It was pretty pricey but we thought he really deserved it from all the affort he has been putting into his schooling this year! We got him a Star Wars game to go with it! Star Wars is his favorite!!!! I think he really had an awesome evening at home with us tonite! HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY CARTER! WE LOVE YOU!!!!
